MRV Arena Inauguration: ‘Nascimento do Campo’ Marks Atlético’s New Home

The inauguration of the MRV Arena, starting at 8 am this Saturday (15/4), has a very suggestive name: ‘Nascimento do Campo’. The event at Atlético’s stadium will feature concerts, tributes, marking of game lines, installation of goalposts and the first shots on goal. The authorities will be the first to speak, through speeches. Afterwards, there will be the marking of the lines of the field and the beams, followed by the shots on goal, which will be given by the black and white idols Ubaldo and Vavá.

In addition to the attractions, visitors will be able to interact with sponsors. Brahma will have personalized kiosks, ArcelorMittal will distribute gifts and Inter will promote activations and dynamics with gifts.

How to buy tickets

Tickets were available until Friday night (4/14), when Arena MRV announced, through its social networks, that tickets had been sold out. Therefore, 9 thousand people are expected in the stadium, which is the maximum capacity of the event.

When selling tickets, Arena MRV and GNV members had preference and special discounts after registering or logging in to the platform.

Arena MRV, GNV Forte and Vingador members and Atlético advisors bought them with a 70% discount. Black, Silver and White GNV members had discounts of 65%, 60% and 50% respectively. For the general public, tickets cost R$599. Up to three tickets were sold per CPF.

Those who purchased a ticket for the inauguration of the home of the Galo won courtesy of the upper red sector to accompany Atlético’s debut in the Brazilian Championship. Galo will also face Vasco on Saturday, at 21h, in Mineirão.

The opening events of the MRV Arena

Although ‘Nascimento do Campo’ is considered the inauguration of the MRV Arena, the stadium has already hosted another event on March 25 this year.

On this date, Atlético celebrated its 115th anniversary with an ecumenical service at the venue. Among directors, board members, employees and guests, around 1,500 people were present.
