In accordance with Fast Company, the famous Mr. Potato Head toy will have a change in its gender focus almost 70 years after its launch.
Hasbro Senior Vice President and General Manager Kimberly Boyd spoke to Fast Company where indicates that the toy will be gender neutral.
To do this, the name “Mr. Potato Head ”or“ Mrs. Potato Head ”for the male and female versions manufactured so far by the company.
From now on, the toy will be called only “Potato Head”. Children want to be able to act out their own experiences. The way the brand currently exists, with the “Mr.” and “Mrs.” it is limiting with regard to both gender identity and family structure

In accordance with The Associated Press (AP) the change will be implemented in the new boxes of toys that go on the market during 2021.
Newly released images of the toy show that it will come with different accessories to configure its gender identity to the child’s taste.
