Jules Sitruk is playing Mr. Batignole this evening on France 2, released in 2002. The same year, the young actor lent his voice to the character of Haleth in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
France 2 broadcasts this evening on TV Monsieur Batignole, a historic drama directed and directed by Gérard Jugnot, in the role of a butcher without history who decides to do everything to save the life of Simon, a small Jewish child, played by Jules Sitruk. The actor, then aged 12, had also been chosen to dub a very secondary character in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Sitruk lends his voice to Haleth, the son of Hama from the kingdom of Rohan. The latter is the captain of Théoden’s guard who allows Gandalf to enter the castle.
Haleth, played by actor Calum Gittins, only appears in a battle scene in the Pit of the Helm. Without being a soldier, he asked him to take part in the combat. Aragorn will even give him a little motivational speech in the scene to discover below:

In any case, this is not the first time that Jules Sitruk has tried dubbing. He is for example the French voice of Oliver Twist in the film by Polanski (2006) or that of the young Alexander in the biopic of Oliver Stone.
