Last week, the two Youtube profiles, Leia Se and Josh Paler Lin, created headlines around the world after sharing a video on social media where the former had painted a face mask on his face.
She first tried to enter a grocery store on the holiday island of Bali without a face mask, but was denied entry. Lin then painted a fake mask on her face – so she could enter the store.
Mouthpieces are required in all public places in Indonesia, including shops. The obvious violation of the country’s corona rules reached several million viewers on Lin’s Youtube channel.
Can be deported from holiday paradise after mask stunt
The muzzle stunt from Bali in Indonesia went viral, and shortly afterwards it became clear that they risked being sent out of holiday paradise due to violations of the local muzzle rules.
Their passports were confiscated, and on Friday it became clear that the two tourists will be sent out of the country as a result of the incident, writes CNN. This was confirmed by the authorities at a press conference.
