Motorola quietly and quite unexpectedly she revealed the very first model from the Gx4 model series, specifically the basic Moto G14. The main improvement concerned the display, which at 6.5″ has a fine Full HD+ resolution. On the contrary, you have to accept that it is only a 60Hz IPS panel. The basic frame rate is a certain concession for a finer resolution.
You probably won’t be too excited about the performance provided by the older octa-core Unisoc T616 together with 4GB of RAM. The internal memory can accommodate 128 GB and there is a slot for up to a 1 TB memory card in the backup. The Moto G14 gets plus points for deploying Android 13. The superstructure is only mild, as we are used to with Motorola phones. A pair of cameras is ready on the back. The main 50-megapixel one is complemented by a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. An 8-megapixel front camera is available for taking selfies.

A battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh is completely standard, promising a solid endurance. Wired charging with a maximum power of 15 W is standard in the lower class. The absence of 5G is not surprising given the lower price. However, the missing NFC freezes, but it may be specific for the Indian market, where the novelty is primarily aimed. There are three slots worth highlighting, where you can place the previously mentioned memory card and two nanoSIMs.
The Motorola Moto G14 will go on sale in the Indian market next week for around 3,000 crowns including tax. There is currently no information on global availability.
