MotoGP Austria 2 D3: at what time will the 900th race of the premier class take place?

This second race in two weekends in a row on the Red Bull Ring track will have a special flavor in MotoGP. It will indeed mark the 900th premier category competition. A saga that began in 1949 with 500 two-stroke and has continued since 2002 with four-strokes currently 990cc. And to mark the occasion, the winner of this Styrian Grand Prix will set off with a shiny car from the BMW range…

On the 899 premier class Grand Prix races contested so far, there are 111 different winners. Who is at the top of the ranking? Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), nine times world champion, who won 89 victories, which means that the “Doctor” has won 10% of all the races in the premier class in history.

Rossi, Agostini, Marquez, Doohan and Lorenzo, have won 35 % of the 899 first-class races between them. Rossi also started from 346 of them, either 38,5 % of all the first class races in history.
