MotoGP 23: Release Date, Gameplay, and Turning Points Story

MotoGP 23, Milestone srl’s newest Grand Prix motorbike racing game is almost here. This will be the developer’s 11th installment of the racing series since 2013 and aims to be the best.

MotoGP 23 Release Date: 8 June 2023.

This game will be released Thursday, June 8, 2023. It will be released on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. No special or deluxe edition of the game is planned for release and will cost $59.99 (USD) at launch. Below is the latest trailer, showing how accessible the game is to new players.

Gameplay

MotoGP 23 will continue to have the same realistic racing style gameplay as its predecessor, with new features and additions requested by fans.

Mentioned in the trailer is advanced neural assist system, which analyzes the performance of players and helps them in various ways. This can involve the brakes, steering or handling of the vehicle. Of course, players can customize how much they want to be assisted so they can have the driving experience they love. There will also be MotoGP Academy mode where players can use tutorials to learn mechanics.

Dynamic Weather is another big feature that makes weather and conditions change mid-race. Out of nowhere it could start raining, forcing a pit stop, and therefore, a whole new strategy. The new system will keep players alert and aware of conditions.

Flag to flag racing has also been confirmed. That is, when the weather conditions have started to change, you are allowed to enter the pit lane to change your bike and tires. There will be an on-screen message indicating when flag-to-flag has started. (Note: Flag-to-flag mode will not be available on the Nintendo Switch version of the game).

The game will also feature both online multiplayer and split screen play. Additionally, MotoGP23 adds full cross-play between all platforms and adds a new ranking racing system.

The Turning Point Story

Career Mode will also receive improvements. A new social media fad will be available where you can communicate with others in the industry. The decisions you make off the track will affect your racing experience. Maybe you started a rivalry with other drivers, or you decided you no longer wanted to race for your team.

All of these social media decisions and interactions are part of what are called “Turning Points”. There will be decisions for you to face regardless of being the first or second racer. Some of the scenarios in Turning Points will span multiple years of your career, which sounds interesting.

Your player can build a positive or negative reputation with other drivers, who can help or hinder you. Having a negative reputation can influence your potential to join a team. Having a positive reputation will show that you are a good sportsman, but sometimes you have to be a little aggressive to win it all.

Turning Points will force players to balance their playing style. Surely they don’t want to be a jerk in the league and ruin future alliances, but they also need to do what it takes to win.

MotoGP 23 has also been added Team goals You have to complete them to stay in and on top of your team. Want to join a team with a winning history? You may have to race for their satellite team to do that. Want to join a little-known organization? It’s easier to go professional, but you have to go head-to-head with a legend.
