Mother of student killed in accident involving son of high-ranking police officer seeks justice

Student’s mother Shamil (18), Nurhayati, hopes that her daughter will get justice in the accident case involving Maulana Malik Ibrahim, the driver of Mercy, who is also the son of Kombes Abu Bakar Turtesi and Ira Riswana. Nurhayati was devastated to have lost her son in the accident.

“After the title of this case has been explained at length, my family and I only hope for justice. Because whatever it is, this is a lost life. As conveyed by lawyer us, yes, that’s how it is and it’s true,” Nurhayati told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (9/5/2023).

Nurhayati talked about the possibility of peace with Ira Riswana in that case. He invited Ira Riswana to come to his house for a joint discussion to discuss the settlement of the case.

“I did at first, I just wished they would come to see us. The door of sorry might be open for them, please come to our hut. I won’t howCome on, let’s sit together in peaceful language,” he said.

Previously, Ira Riswana’s attorney, Ricky H Gultom, denied accusations that his client’s son, Maulana Malik Ibrahim (MMI), fled after an accident that killed student Syamil (18) occurred. Ricky claims airbag Mercy’s car driven by Maulana got out so the car stopped and could not go.

“Giniif the car Mercy crash, airbagit comes out, can’t seeand Mercy if crash airbagit can’t be gassed out, so gliding the car, please conclude yourself aja,” said Ricky H Gultom to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (9/5).
