A 49-year-old woman has been found guilty of murdering her two children in the United States. They had become zombies, she said. The woman was also involved in the murder plans of her new husband’s ex.
The events took place in 2019 in Idaho. Her children were 7 and 16 years old at the time. According to the researchers, Lori Vallow thought they had become zombies and believed in reincarnation. Her new husband, Chad Daybell, who wrote books about the apocalypse, is also said to be involved, but he is being tried separately.
After the disappearance of her children, the couple still received child benefit. The bodies of children Joshua and Tylee were found only nine months after their disappearance, buried in the yard near Daybell’s home.
“Charred remains, that’s all that was left of Tylee,” prosecutor Lindsey Blake said at an earlier hearing in April, showing jurors a photo of human remains partially covered by soil.
Lori Vallow “used money, power and sex to get her way,” said prosecutor Blake. The now 49-year-old woman can be sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of being released.
A documentary was made for Netflix about Vallow’s horrific deeds called Sins of our Mother.
