Moselle. Three vehicles involved in an accident between Volstroff and Stuckange

A head-on collision between two cars on a road known for its accident-prone nature. This Monday August 16, around 11 am, the municipal road 1 which connects Stuckange to Volstroff was the scene of a new accident, the first elements of which could have given rise to fear of the worst. Indeed, a few hundred meters from the entrance to the village of Volstroff, several vehicles collided, triggering the engagement of significant resources on the rescue side.

Difficult, for the moment, to determine with certainty the origin of the accident. It seems that the driver of a first vehicle traveling in the direction Stuckange-Volstroff braked suddenly in order to avoid a dog on the road. The following car would then have shifted to the other lane in order to avoid the collision, hitting head-on a third vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The impact is such that one of the cars ends up in the field along the road.

From the surrounding barracks, five fire trucks quickly went to the scene to assist the four people involved. If, for the time being, no injuries are to be deplored, the four people taken care of were transported by ambulance to the Bel-Air hospital in Thionville for examinations.

In order to give the emergency services time to do their work, the gendarmes from the Guénange company limited traffic near the accident. They also carried out the usual observations.
