Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 981 new cases that proved positive for its laboratory analyzes of the emerging corona virus (Covid 19), and the death of 85 new cases.
Yesterday, Thursday, the Ministry of Health recorded 950 cases, and 53 deaths.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs, pointed out that 521 corona virus recovered from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 23,274 cases until today.
“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Coruna virus,” Mujahid said.
He stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Friday, is 8,235 cases, including 23,274 cases that have been cured, and 3,702 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases, and has devoted a number of means of communication to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases, including The hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Health Egypt” application available on the phones.
