Mortal Shell (Dungeonhaven) – Souls-like finds exit window – News

First known as Dungeonhaven, the soul-like of Playstack and Cold Symmetry changes its name and gives us a lot of information as well as an exit window.

Dungeonhaven, now known as Mortal Shell, is an uncompromising action RPG produced by a team of just 15 people. Like a certain Dark souls, Mortal Shell invites you to play with your reflexes and your understanding of the different movements of the enemy to overcome the frightening monsters hiding in dark dungeons. In this tortured universe, the player will obviously be helped by a complete arsenal, but also by Mortal Shells. During your journey, it will therefore be possible to possess the souls of warriors who died in combat in order to learn unique skills. like fire or ice control.

Like any good self-respecting RPG, Mortal Shell will also offer a non-linear campaign with varied environments (marshes, cathedrals, crypts), and a tree of skills to develop as you progress.

For a small team like ours, developing this title was in many ways like crossing an ocean on a paddle board. One of the most exciting and terrifying experiences we’ve had so far is the announcement of Mortal Shell. The past two years have been a period of uninterrupted growth, full of complex twists and turns linked to the vagaries of developing a video game that you would really like to play. Andrew McLennan-Murray, Anton Gonzalez and Vitaly Bulgarov, the three co-founders of Cold Symmetry

Finally, Playstack tells us that Mortal Shell is scheduled for the third quarter of 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players will also be able to sign up for a closed beta game in the coming days to preview the title.
