Books – Muhammad Hammam:

Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Club Zamalek, sent a message to Al-Ahly officials after the White Club entered into negotiations with Huddersfield, England, to include its player Ramadan Sobhi.

Mortada said in statements via a video posted on the “Zamalek” screen in the early hours of Saturday morning: “Why is Al-Ahly angry after the departure of Ramadan Subhi? You were the ones who sold the player in the beginning.”

He continued: “The same situation was repeated with Abdullah Al-Saeed, you who sold it to the Saudi family of Jeddah, and Turki Al-Sheikh returned it.”

Murtaza continued his message to the Al-Ahly Council: “Al-Ahly is upset with me because of my entry into the Ramadan Sobhi deal. The player is not affiliated with Al-Ahly, but for Huddersfield.”

He continued: “I am doing the same as you did with the Ismailis, after you had a complete generation, whether Abdullah Al-Saeed, Islam Al-Shater, Ahmed Fathi and Marwan Mohsen.”

Amir Tawfiq, director of contracts at Al-Ahly club, went out last Wednesday to announce that the player would not continue in his club’s ranks due to his desire to leave for the Pyramids ranks, starting next season.

On the other hand, Pyramids’ first response was through contracting director Amr Bassiouni, who confirmed that his club entered into negotiations with Huddersfield to include the 23-year-old.

Ramadan Sobhi played on loan with Al-Ahly since January 2019 for a period of six months, in exchange for Huddersfield’s 800,000 pounds, before the loan was renewed for a whole season in exchange for one million and 600 thousand pounds.

Ramadan Sobhi played nine matches with Al-Ahly during the current season, scoring five goals, one goal in the African Champions League competition, in addition to four goals in the Egyptian We League competition.
