Morocco thinks of Brahim Diaz to replace Harit

The AC Milan playmaker among coach Regragui’s eligible candidates in place of the injured Marseille player

Brahim Diaz could participate in the World Cup in Qatar with Morocco. The serious injury to Marseille playmaker Amine Herit (a cruciate ligament sprain in his left knee) forces coaching manager Walid Regragui to find a replacement. In the list of eligible candidates, according to local media, there would also be the AC Milan player, who has a Moroccan passport thanks to his father’s origins.

Although Brahim Diaz has already played for the Spain national team, he can still be called up by Morocco. In fact, the 1999 class has only one presence with the Red Furies, which gives him the requirements to be called up by the North African selection. There had already been rapprochement in the past and now Diaz could give in and say yes to the nation that gave birth to his father.

THE MARSEILLE COMMUNICATE ON HARIT
“Amine Harit, injured during Sunday’s match against AS Monaco, suffered a sprained cruciate ligament in his left knee. Medical tests are underway to offer him the most appropriate treatment for his injury. The player will follow a treatment protocol appropriate. Olympique Marseille wishes Amine a speedy recovery and hope to see him on the pitch as soon as possible.”
