It was extra busy this morning rush hour due to accidents on the A50 and A58 highways. There were 45 minutes to an hour of delays on both highways. That was due to accidents. By a quarter to nine, the worst of the traffic misery was over, although there were still traffic jams of several kilometers on various highways in the province.
It was stuck on the A50 in the direction of Eindhoven between Nistelrode and Sint-Oedenrode. On the A58, queuing was between the Galder and Etten-Leur junctions in the direction of Bergen op Zoom and between the Batadorp and Moergestel junctions in the direction of Tilburg.
The cause in all cases were accidents that happened before eight o’clock, the ANWB and Rijkswaterstaat announced.
Recovery companies have been called in to remove vehicles. It is not known whether anyone was injured in the accidents.
Traffic also had to take extra long travel times into account on other highways in our province, including the A27 and the A59. This was especially the case at the Hooipolder junction.
