More than 230 migrants entered the Spanish enclave

More than 300 people tried to cross the fence early in the morning. 238 men succeeded, according to the Spanish government’s office in the small territory.

Ceuta and Melilla, two Spanish territories in North Africa, are used as a springboard to Europe by migrants and refugees who each year try to get past the barriers that form the border.

In May, it attracted attention when as many as 6,000 managed to enter Ceuta in one day. It happened during a political dispute between Morocco and Spain.
