From May 13th, the extensive Greece program from Salzburg will be further strengthened by a new flight connection to Thessaloniki. The flight departs from Salzburg at 8:10 a.m. and lands in Thessaloniki at 11:05 a.m., just under 40 minutes later Eurowings takes off again in the direction of Salzburg and then lands at 12:55 p.m. in the city of Mozart.
The second largest city in Greece is considered the cultural and economic center of the Macedonia region. Thessaloniki is also the gateway to the Chalkidiki Peninsula. The peninsula is divided into three promontories: Athos, Sithonia and Kassandra. This region is known on the one hand for the endless white sandy beaches and on the other hand for its bays, which are framed by rocky cliffs. The more adventurous will find entertainment on underwater excursions while snorkeling in the turquoise blue sea.
The new direct connection is offered every Saturday by airline partner Eurowings. A further six Greek islands are also on the flight plan: Karpathos, Kos, Corfu and Zakynthos, Crete and Rhodes. The latter two are even served three times a week.
In addition to numerous sunny destinations such as Cyprus, Corsica, Hurghada, Antalya and Mallorca, the Balearic island of Ibiza is NEW this summer. In addition, numerous city destinations such as Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Lübeck, Amsterdam, Istanbul or London are on the program. Exciting destinations all over the world can also be reached via the large, international hubs such as Frankfurt or Dubai. With just one change, flydubai takes you via Dubai, e.g. directly to Thailand (Krabi or Pattaya) or Sri Lanka (Colombo)
