More children born much too early because mom has to go on a ventilator: “Children often lie alone for weeks”

In this fourth wave, the neonatology departments of our hospitals are more often confronted with the harsh reality of babies born prematurely with an infected mother on a ventilator. “If you are pregnant, please get vaccinated. In many cases it avoids labour-intensive and very expensive care for mother and child, but above all human dramas.”
