One would have thought that one day the summer sales would start this Friday in Montluçon, between 30 degrees Celsius and the flood of cars and strollers crossing in the Saint-Jacques area. It would hardly take more to forget these weeks of confinement, if it is not the new accessory often essential to access shops: the mask.
“Need to go out to see something else”
Equipped with a disposable blue mask, Dominique did not expect to meet so many people. Descended from Huriel, she was more there “to return to normal life before” than out of necessity.
“I don’t really need things but rather need to go outside to see something other than my house,” she says. In the afternoon program: a quick trip to the Foir’Fouille, in one or two clothing stores “and I will end up at the supermarket,” she explains.
Getting used to wearing a mask
Reassured by the measures put in place in the shops, Dominique admits all the same having some difficulties getting used to the mask:

In any case, the pleasure of consuming as before seems to have returned to Montluçon, where customers seem more than ever happy to be able to stroll through the shops again.
Free parking. Free parking extends until Saturday, May 30, in both the green and orange zones. On the other hand, closed and underground car parks remain chargeable. Parking will also be free in Montluçon on Saturday June 6, the day before Mother’s Day, and on Saturday June 20, the day before Father’s Day.
