Monica Geuze has not had a positive feeling about it Like Monica, the reality soap about her life that can be seen on Videoland. In the podcast Put things into perspective from Kaj Gorgels she says that afterwards she would have liked to have filmed at a quieter moment in her life.
In recent months, Geuze was followed by a camera crew during times when it was troubled in her private life. Geuze ended her relationship with Lars Veldwijk, the father of her daughter Zara-Lizzy, and started a new relationship.
“I do not regret it (the reality series, ed.), But I did not necessarily have a very positive feeling about it,” says Geuze. She says she has received a lot of criticism about the situation with Veldwijk, but believes that no breakage involving children goes flawlessly.
“The filming of the series just started at a time when the emotions ran high. It was a very vulnerable moment and that is perfect for the people who make the series, but for myself I would have preferred that we were a few months later start filming when everything calmed down. “
“Then it would have been a fun, fun series about how well co-parenting is going. That is more fun to show, but it was not always like that,” Geuze concludes.
From Like Monica four episodes were made. The recordings were terminated prematurely because of the measures surrounding the corona virus.
