This weekend in Montauban took place the Occitanie Thai boxing championships (metal). Six boxers from the Boxing-Club “Boxons”, a flea market building in Monferran-Savès located route du Calvaire, took part in this championship.
Regarding the results: Lou Montagne, Damien Rodriguès, Mathias Vankerkhove were selected for the French championship. Cédrick Marchal, domiciled in Samatan, won a gold medal, became champion of Occitania and found himself selected to show his abilities at the French championships.
Finally, Rizvan Shabazov, domiciled in Mauvezin, won a silver medal. Thai boxing lessons are given by Lucas Montagne on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children and adults alike. Lucas Montagne is a professional in boxing and kickboxing, professional European champion and multiple amateur world champion.
The lessons are also assisted by Laurent Montagne, a high-level boxing specialist, as well as by Maël Montagne, amateur world champion. These lessons are open to beginners, leisure boxers, women and children from 4 years old.
