According to AGF Videoforschung, American football is the second most popular sport among television viewers after soccer. Compared to the average German, American football fans are more interested in financial products, beauty and travel. This is the result of a data analysis by Emetriq.

The analysis shows that the Football Watcher target group is predominantly male and middle-aged (40 to 49 years). They also have high purchasing power, which makes them an interesting target group for companies and brands. In addition to finance, beauty and travel, Football Watchers are also interested in fashion and charity topics. They also have an above-average affinity for motorsport. It is also striking that 74 percent of football watchers Amazon Prime prefer to other streaming providers. The average German is only 57 percent.

No longer a niche topic

No wonder, the target group is extremely attractive.
