Mohammed Ayoubi shares the love of travel from Dubai

Mohammed Ayoubi is one of the Moroccans who knew how to transform their passion into a profession. Born on May 28, 1985 in the Ismaili capital Meknes, he now accompanies travelers, including celebrities and well-known personalities, who wish to discover Dubai.

After a degree in English literature obtained in Meknes, then specialized training in hotel and tourism management in Fez, this travel lover, having taken part in several summer camps, even ended up obtaining a diploma from the Ministry of Youth and sports as a certified educational framework in summer camps. “I took part in high-level colonies, in particular with the FAR (Royal Armed Forces, editor’s note) and other Moroccan institutions,” he told Yabiladi. “I like to travel and so I participated in any activity related to travel.”

After training with the Ministry of Tourism, as a tourist guide, the Meknassi goes to Turkey for a first experience before packing up for the United Arab Emirates to respond to the offer of a large company in luxury brands . His quest for new adventures then led him to Dubai to “gain experience”.

“I was planning to spend a year in Dubai before returning to Morocco. I ended up settling there. It was 16 years ago. This experience allowed me to meet high-level personalities and the Jet set of the first city of the United Arab Emirates.

A year later, the Moroccan continues with another experience, closer to his field, working at Dubai International Airport, with the airline Emirates. He spent nearly 15 years there, working in several departments, from check-in to the VIP terminal. “It was a good experience, which allowed me to visit several countries of the world, with my wife”, he adds.

A travel agency and support from A to Z

His work at Dubai International Airport allows him above all to build up a “good book” of contacts, which will serve him later. In 2020, the health crisis linked to the new coronavirus pandemic occurred and the global tourism sector was hit hard. Dubai airport, the first in the world in terms of international travellers, was then forced to close. “It was unimaginable to see it empty of its travelers and staff,” recalls Mohammed Ayoubi. “Our salaries have been reduced and several staff have been let go,” he admits.

A sad memory that will not prevent him from bouncing back. Indeed, the experience allows him to launch, in September 2021, his own travel agency. Because, during his 15 years at Dubai airport, Mohammed Ayoubi assisted many stars and celebrities, “from Bollywood to Hollywood, including politicians and sportsmen”.

“I wanted to translate my knowledge in the field as well as my experience, by adopting a different approach, far from the traditional travel agencies that exist on the market”, he tells us. Thus, his agency “carries out customer support, from A to Z” and assists all categories of customers.

“People have a wrong image of the world and think for example that Dubai is only visited by wealthy people, which is not true. The agency therefore offers the tickets and hotel reservations according to the budget of the client, who is assisted before his arrival and until the end of his stay, because the most important thing is to share with the client his travel experience .”

Since its creation, the travel agency created by the Moroccan has been able to assist many travelers, including stars who have come to visit Dubai. The latest celebrity is none other than Badr Hari, who arrived this week and who is accompanied during his stay in the United Arab Emirates by the agency of Mohammed Ayoubi.
