Liverpool has successfully tied Mohamed Salah | longer. The performance of the Reds officials was also praised for having succeeded in adding to the Egyptian player’s contract.
Salah was announced to have signed a new contract earlier this month. The 30-year-old will be a Liverpool player until 2025.
On his new contract at Liverpool, Salah received a fee of 350,000 pounds sterling. With that salary, Salah became the player with the most expensive salary in the Premier League, beating Cristiano Ronaldo.
A former player who worked in the Premier League, Darren Bent, praised the move by Liverpool officials to tie Salah longer. In view of the contribution Salah maximum, he also considers that the high salary is deserved by Salah.
“They’ve spent a lot on him… but you have to think about what he’s done at Liverpool. Salah has played 254 times, scored 156 goals and 63 assists – that’s an incredible record,” Bent said. Talksport.
“From the moment he stepped foot at Liverpool, he’s been absolutely phenomenal, and I mean absolutely phenomenal. He’s been scoring goals since he came, breaking records, left, right and centre.
“They’ve just lost one of their best players in Mane and the players were probably few because of that, then with players of such quality as signing a new contract it’s amazing. Liverpool’s board are doing well,” he added.
