JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV- The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa was asked to thoroughly investigate Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono’s (AHY) statement that damaged the reputation of the TNI.
The statement was made by Moeldoko’s spokesman for the Democratic Party, Muhammad Rahmad, Friday (11/26/2021).
“The TNI Commander needs to thoroughly investigate what AHY said, so that the TNI does not tarnish its good name,” said Rahmad.
In addition, said Rahmad, so that the public does not perceive the TNI as interfering in the political affairs of the Democratic Party.
“We see that AHY feels that the TNI is in his hands, so he easily conveys to the public that there is input from his seniors in the TNI regarding the practice of buying and selling law,” said Rahmad.
“AHY’s statement is very vile, at the same time it is very insulting to the TNI and our judiciary institutions.”

Rahmad further highlighted the release delivered by the AHY Democrats today.
According to him, the release delivered by AHY’s Democrats is different from AHY’s statement which clearly stated that there was input from TNI seniors.
“That is very different from AHY’s statement. The release of the AHY camp stated that the ones who provided input to the Ketum PD AHY were retired TNI seniors,” said Rahmad.
