(CercleFinance.com) – Moderna announces that it has shipped its 100 millionth dose of its Covid-19 vaccine to the United States government, with more than 67 million doses administered in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the United States.
The group has increased its shipments to the U.S. government five-fold since receiving emergency use clearance from the FDA, from more than 16 million doses in the fourth quarter of 2020 to 88 million so far for the first quarter 2021.
Moderna expects to meet its commitment dates with the United States government for all doses currently ordered, including delivery of the 100 million doses by the end of May and the 100 million by the end of July.
