Hardi du Mesnil presented by Matthieu Palussière was sold for 250,000 euros during this February Mixed Sale in Deauville (Calvados)
First meeting of the year dedicated to various profiles, the February Mixed Sale thoroughbred organized by theagence Arqana took place on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 February 2021 at Deauville (Calvados).
Organized in a similar format to the previous year, the first day of sales on Monday February 15, 2021 ended with an increase in all of its indicators. 78% (+ 12%) of the 156 horses in the ring changed hands for an average price of € 13,669, which jumped 22%. Turnover amounts to € 1,654,000 (+ 24%).
Bringing together mares, fillies and yearlings, the second and last day of this February Mixed Sale, Tuesday February 16, 2021, continued in the same dynamic as the day before. 84% of the 167 horses presented were sold, 19 points more than last year. The average price jumped 18% to reach 9,780 € and the turnover amounted to 1,379,500 €, registering an increase of 38%.
The session ended with results showing strong progress at all levels. Of the 323 subjects in the ring, 261 changed hands, i.e. 80% (+15 pts) for an average price of € 11,602 (+ 19%).
Turnover reached € 3,037,500 (+ 29%), just behind the excellent 2019 edition which hosted two dispersions.
