MIUI 13 features, now available for download in Indonesia

KOMPAS.com– Along with the launch event of the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi co-launch interface MIUI 13 to Indonesia.

Product Marketing Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, Calvin Nobel explained that the MIUI 12 successor interface is present for the first time in the trio of Redmi Note 11 series, namely the “regular” Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

“MIUI 13 will be present in the Redmi Note 11 series right from the moment you buy it,” explained Calvin at the Redmi Note 11 series launch event which was held online, Tuesday (15/3/2022).

MIUI 13 features

In general, MIUI 13 will offer improved app management so the device can run more smoothly when opening and running apps. Some of those features include:

• Liquid Storage
• Atomized Memory
• Focused Algorithms
• Sidebar
• MiSans Font
• Dynamic Widgets
• Live wallpaper
• Improved security support

In addition, MIUI 13 also brings a more attractive appearance than the previous version’s interface.

Liquid Storage

Liquid Storage plays a role in providing optimization in the file management section. According to Calvin, the use of mobile phones after 36 months has the potential to experience a reduction in the speed of the storage process by up to 50 percent.

However, with the presence of Liquid Storage in MIUI 13, it is claimed to be able to help optimize usage in the storage sector.

Thus, the process of reading and writing (read and write) that occurs in storage while managing files, can run better.

“Compared to other Android OS, MIUI 13 can maintain read & write speed up to 95 percent,” said Calvin.

Atomized Memory

Atomized Memory or RAM optimization is a feature that can help manage application performance, especially applications that are actively running in the background.

Calvin explained that Atomized Memory is intended to increase RAM performance and close applications that are no longer active in the background.
