Tiemoué Bakayoko had a major scare last Sunday. The French player for AC Milan was driving calmly through the city when he was intercepted by a group of police officers and a tense moment ensued. They searched him and an officer pointed a firearm at the interior of his vehicle..
The midfielder, whose pass belongs to Chelsea, was not recognized by the police at first. Though when they realized his identity, they released him and let him go. The reasons for the confusion that led to the player being intercepted are still unknown.
Although at first the situation was quite tense, the scene became comical when they realized that it was a professional footballer. It can be seen the surprise on the face of the policeman who was checking him out when he realized his unusual mistake.

Despite winning the Scudetto with Milan last season, Bakayoko’s future is anyone’s guess. The French midfielder was acquired by Chelsea in 2017 in exchange for 40 million euros, but did not perform as expected.
The Blues loaned him out four times in a row (AC Milan, Monaco, Napoli and, again, Milan). The coach of the London team, Thomas Tuchel, does not take this into account and he will have to find a new destination. Although his loan ends in June 2023, he could leave Italy early.
There are two clubs interested in the 27-year-old: Valencia and Olympique de Marseille.. In the Spanish club he could be reunited with Gennaro Gattuso, with whom he coincided in Milan.
