After some Spotify radio plays disappeared for a short time, they are now available again.
Fans of the three ???, TKKG or the Five Friends may have noticed that numerous episodes could suddenly no longer be streamed on Spotify. No reasons were officially known.
Lots of episodes back
In the meantime, the episodes seem to be pretty much all available again. Currently, the display and playback are still partly loaded with errors, do not work or are displayed twice. But things are progressing …
Reason for absence not known
Market observers suspect that there were disputes with the rights holders. Spotify wants to pay for streams and not track lengths.
Apple is also deleting more and more audiobooks from the Apple Music catalog. A large number of audio books could also be streamed with the Apple Music subscription. This is no longer possible – the majority of the titles are no longer available.
Downloaded tracks also inaudible
Users who have downloaded audiobooks can no longer play them either. Radio plays do not seem to be affected by this – these are still available.
Apple support contradicts itself
Apple support makes contradicting statements. Sometimes it is said that it is a mistake. However, sometimes customers are also referred to Apple Books, where the audiobooks can be purchased.
Since Spotify is now bringing back the audiobooks, we are hopeful that you will soon find them again on Apple Music.
