TCL bus driver transported to hospital after projectile throws

The facts took place this Sunday evening around 10:30 p.m.

According to our information, a TCL bus from line 31 was hit by projectile jets on rue Albert Falsan in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon. The driver of the vehicle was lightly hit by shards of glass as an object was thrown head-on into the front windshield of the bus. The victim was taken to hospital for consultation. According to Keolis, no ITT would have been granted to the driver after “this fact that shocked“.

As a result of this new attack, the circulation of buses was limited in the area. We do not know if one or more arrests were made but a complaint has been filed.

As a reminder, some drivers have denounced for a few weeks, during strikes, an upsurge in violence in the Lyon area, with the culmination of recent gunfire on a bus in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon.
