Natalia Piguła – candidate for Miss Universe

The event will take place in Miami, Florida and it will be the 69th edition of the competition, and Poland will only take part in it 37th.
Our representative – Natalia Piguła, called “The Pill” by friends, is by no means a novice in the subject of beauty contests. As a 15-year-old she took part in the Elite Model Look competition to later work as a model.
The plans of the promising model were thwarted by illness. Natalia gained a lot of weight and had to give up her career. But she never gave up. She devoted a lot of work and strength to get back in shape and fight for her dreams again.
In 2019, she won two titles – Miss Lodz Region, and then 1st Runner-Up in Poland. She then flew to Colombia to win the runner-up miss crown there International Cafe Queen. Now it’s time for the biggest challenge in her career – she will be competing in the Miss Universe pageant!
She found out about this great opportunity at the last minute. The nomination came just a month and a half before the final. Meanwhile, it turned out that there is even less time! The pandemic restrictions did not allow Natalia to fly to Florida straight from Poland. Our representative had only one day to pack up and fly to Panama, to appear in the United States on May 7 at the training camp.
The stages of the final have already begun. On Friday morning, Polish time, Natalia presented the national costume prepared for her by Agnieszka Lechańska from the Mona Lissa salon in Łódź. It was inspired by the hussars – a body resembling armor, wings and a huge, white and red flag looked spectacular and aroused great emotions. The gala had a very high audience.
In turn, the final creation was designed by Viola Piekut. The red, hand-decorated creation is to emphasize the Slavic beauty of the Polish woman. May it bring her happiness.
The 23-year-old has a great chance of winning. The current listing definitely places her in the top twenty!
