The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation called on private sector companies that employ 50 or more workers to expedite the achievement of the semi-annual Emiratisation targets of 1% of skilled jobs.
This is to avoid fines of 42 thousand dirhams for each citizen who is not appointed, which starts after the deadline (Friday 7 July 2023).
The ministry said in a tweet on its official account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “To our partners, private sector companies that employ 50 workers or more, hurry to achieve the semi-annual localization targets by 1% of skilled jobs to avoid fines amounting to 42 thousand dirhams for each citizen.” It has not been set.. The deadline is July 7, 2023.”
