The CDA minister stresses that GPs can also be approached for a test. “People with other complaints will often prefer their own GP, ​​which is of course also possible. This is already happening now, people with frail health are already being tested. ” Coronation agent Sijbesma previously informed De Telegraaf that 30,000 tests can be performed per day in June.

GGDs, laboratories and suppliers say they are ready for that. “This gives the Netherlands a very generous test policy compared to other countries,” explains former DSM CEO Sijbesma. “Enough to test almost all Dutch people with complaints.”
