On an unstable night, the definition was in the race. On this Sunday night, in Saquarema, Minas suffered – and a lot – in front of Sesi-Bauru. After a relatively quiet victory in the first game of the series, Minas had much more problems this Sunday to confirm the trip to the final. While suffering from their own instability in the match, the team even saw Tifanny turn into a nightmare for their defense. There were 22 points of the tip, against 20 of Polina Rahimova. For Minas, the highest scorer was Dani Cuttino, who recovered after a bad start and closed with 22 points. The biggest highlight, however, was overcoming the team to go to the decision.

In the other key, Praia Clube had eliminated Osasco shortly before to go to the final. The teams made the last final of the competition, in the 2018/2019 season – last year, the Super League was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. 1st set: Sesi-Bauru imposes itself at the beginning

To Sesi-Bauru, it only remained to impose itself from the beginning. In a good pass by Dani Lins for the serve, the team from São Paulo opened 3/0 right away. Shortly thereafter, in a blow from Tifanny, the advantage was already five points: 7/2. Nicola Negro then stopped the game. In two blocks followed by Megan Easy over Rahimova, Minas, finally, entered the game. In Thaisa’s block over Tifanny, the gap fell to just one point: 9/10. The tie came in the sequence, with a blow from Pri Daroit.

2nd set: Minas returns to the game

3rd set – Tifanny leads Sesi-Bauru

The game, once again, has changed. Sesi-Bauru fired at the start of the third set when opening 4/0 by the hands of Tifanny and Rahimova. Adenízia, in two consecutive points, made the score 8/3. Minas seemed to miss its opposite, Cuttino, who could not get into the game. Meanwhile, on the other side, Tifanny shone. With a start at the end of the court, the tip opened 12/5 in the count.

When the score was 15/7, Nicola Negro stopped the game again. The mining team, however, was unable to react in the face of rivals’ dominance. Tifanny went on his private show and guided the team from São Paulo to victory in the partial. Camila Mesquita, who had entered the inversion, was blocked, and Sesi-Bauru closed on 25/17.

4th set: Minas forces the tie-break

Minas accelerated back to the court. In the attack by Megan Easy, the team opened 5/2 on the scoreboard. The American repeated the shot shortly after scoring 8/3 on the account and forcing Rubinho to stop the game. Did not work. Without stepping on the brake, the team from Minas Gerais soon made 8/16, in an error of attack by Suelle. Sesi-Bauru, totally changed by Rubinho, tested a reaction and made the difference drop to five points.

But it didn’t take long for Minas to regain control. Carol Gattaz, with a short china, made the team open 21/14. From there, Sesi-Bauru was unable to return to the match. With Tifanny already spared for the cramp tie-break, there was no breath left to fetch. Thaisa, with a stroke, closed the partial on 25/17.

5th set – Cuttino recovers and takes Minas to the final

Cuttino, diagonally, opened the count in the last set. At that point, tension was a separate character. Minas even opened 5/2 in the blockade on Rahimova. The American opposite, which disappeared throughout the match, has finally recovered. The gap only widened to the end. In the serve of Pri Heldes, mining victory: 8/15.
