Milan to pay RSCA 3.5 million more for Saelemaekers

As expected at the time of the loan on January 31, AC Milan will add 3.5 million to definitively acquire Alexis Saelemaekers (21).

The Italians had already paid the same amount for the 6 month rental. A logical decision financially but also sportingly since Saelemaekers is gradually making his place in the group (he went up to the 54th minute of play Sunday during the success against Roma).

A few weeks ago, Milan had been testing the ground with the RSCA to review the purchase option downward, given the coronavirus crisis, but the Brussels management had not followed up. At Sporting, we intend to invest this sum in the summer transfer window where some reinforcements are still necessary.
