They hit him under the house. One hour before the start of Inter-Sampdoria at the Meazza stadium. An ambush cost his life a Vittorio Boiocchi, 69 years oldultrà leader of the Inter curve e pluri-prejudiced with ten sentences e 26 years in prison for arms and robbery. As soon as the curves came the news of the ambush, the ultras of Inter have stopped singing and have withdrawn the banners from the balustrades. Then they emptied the stands. The murder of Boiocchi shakes and worries the ultra world. And remember the ambush of August 2019 at the head of the Lazio curve, Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as Diabolik.

The investigations are entrusted to the investigators of the mobile team, with the support of the general prevention office of the police headquarters and of the Digos, coordinated by the prosecutor Paolo Storari of the Dda. At least five shots were fired against Boiocchi with a semiautomatic pistol, three bullets hit the neck and chest. He died while being transported to the San Carlo hospital. The last arrest in March 2021 when he was stopped with another convict in the car with the bibs of the Finance Police and a taser. They were going to kidnap an entrepreneur for a 2 million euro extortion.

The ambush took place in via Fratelli Zanzottera, on the far western outskirts of Milan where he had served house arrest. He was under special surveillance and he couldn’t go to the stadium because he had to be 2 kilometers from San Siro. “We heard the shots, then we saw a person lying on the sidewalk,” the witnesses say. The ambush took place at 7.48pm, Boiocchi was surprised as he was walking home.

Two people were supposed to shoot and then fled by motorbike. There are currently no eyewitnesses. In the street, a narrow street just before the church of the small village of Figino, there are no cameras. The few customers of the Sahary bar, open at that hour, were all inside. Boiocchi had been released from prison in 2019. From that moment he had resumed the reins of the North curve, returning to the throne occupied in the 90s when he was arrested in a maxi operation.

He had taken advantage of a change in the leadership of the organized Interista supporters following the death of the Varese supporter Daniele Belardinelli hit by a Neapolitan ultrà car on December 26, 2018 during the clashes between the Campania and Inter supporters in via Novara. Boiocchi had returned to the curve in September 2019, his presence had shaken and upset the balance of the fans. During Inter-Udinese the most sensational episode with some ultras who dedicated a choir to the old boss. An action that he had flown slaps between Boiocchi and the historic spokesman for the curve, Franchino Caravita. Then Boiocchi had suffered a heart attack. In the following days, a photograph posted on social media seemed to have put an end to the diatribe: in his hospital bed Vittorio Boiocchi embraced by Caravita. In reality, according to the investigators, it was a mere attempt to bring the crisis back to the media level. From that day on, in fact, the top of the curve had returned under the control of the 69-year-old. In recent months, his name had surfaced in an investigation into stadium related business such as the parking business.
