The little book tells the story of Mika and Flopp, who go on an exciting journey: “Mika, Flopp on a star ride! Come on, let’s go, MACHMAMIT!”. On one star the two friends encounter a group of instruments and on another the colorful cactus paints the gray around them. What is happening on the bouncing star? Loud music can be heard. And what do Applause Mouse and Ink Tiger actually have to say?
“Machmamit! – Mika and Flopp on a Star Ride!” is aimed at children up to the age of 8. Also for school classes or daycare groups. A mini-sized book about fun, friendship and adventure.
The creator of the story is Vivienne Pabst. She is 16 years old and has been going to the writing workshop in Berlin-Marzahn for a year.

The booklet and the poster were created as part of the cultural education campaign “Machmamit! – Find what’s yours” (2023) by the Federal Association for Cultural Child and Youth Education (BKJ). The campaign is funded in the “Future Package for Exercise, Culture and Health” program of the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ). The aim of the campaign is to make cultural education visible to children and young people as well as to the general public.
