JawaPos.com – Xiaomi has just kicked off the world’s mobile market by releasing its first collaboration with Leica. This collaboration is manifested in the Xiaomi 12S Series devices, two of which are present using Leica imaging technology.
MiFans all over the world have been waiting for this collaboration, including in Indonesia. Imagine, after breaking up with Huawei, many people are definitely looking forward to what other breakthroughs Leica will bring through its new partner, Xiaomi.
But MiFans outside the Chinese market seem to have to bite their fingers, disappointed. Because Xiaomi ensures that the Xiaomi 12S Series is confirmed to be only present for the Chinese market.
“Xiaomi will offer the Xiaomi 12S Series exclusively in Mainland China,” said a company spokesperson, as noted by Engadget’s Richard Lai via Android Headlines.
However, he continued, Xiaomi’s partnership with Leica will not stop in China. “Our strategic partnership in imaging technology will have a long-term impact beyond the scope of this series, to Xiaomi’s international market,” continued Richard Lai.
However, it is not yet known what Xiaomi’s next plan will be to present a device made in collaboration with Leica. There is a possibility that the company will release a new product that is intended for the international market.
