Microsoft Will Create Xbox Streaming Application for iOS: Okezone techno

SOME last day Microsoft released the application Xbox for Android. This differs from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service in that users can stream games from the cloud to mobile devices. Instead, this app will stream games owned from the Xbox console via a mobile device that acts like a local server.

Quoting from Ubergizmo, Monday (9/28/2020), the good news is that it looks like this remote streaming feature is coming soon to iOS devices in the Xbox app update. The update is being tested at TestFlight which means it’s pretty much in beta, but once it’s done it should be pushed for everyone to download.

The interesting thing is that although Microsoft previously complained about Apple’s restrictions on game streaming, it looks like they will stick with Apple’s App Store rules. It is estimated that the rules regarding game streaming will be present at the beginning of next month.

While there are new rules that open the door to game streaming services like xCloud to come to iOS devices, companies like Microsoft are still a little restrictive.

This is due to the fact that the rules require that all games available on the streaming service must also be listed individually on the App Store as a way for Apple to review those games. Then also to ensure that they meet the requirements of the App Store.
