There is a technical problem with Messenger Teams. Apparently the program has failed worldwide.
Since early morning no more messages could be sent via Teams. There were also problems with the login. Users in Germany are affected – but also in other countries. The technical problems are reported on Twitter from the USA, India and Australia, among others.
We’ve received reports of users being unable to access Microsoft Teams or leverage any features. We’re investigating the issue and further updates can be found in your Service Health Dashboard via TM402718.

Major Microsoft Teams disruption
According to Microsoft, this is a technical problem that also affects other applications such as Word or Sharepoint. A solution is already being worked on. In the meantime, extensive functionality has apparently been restored. It is currently not known when the program will run completely trouble-free again.

Teams is a platform developed by Microsoft. It has become particularly important since the corona pandemic. In many companies, Teams is used for chats, for video conferences and for exchanging files.
Team failure: users are happy
In many companies, no teams also means: no annoying conferences. That’s why some users on Twitter were happy about the failure.
I just want to say, Microsoft Teams, please take your time. No rush to fix your servers. Really it’s ok. We can wait.
