Microsoft Teams adds the Walkie-Talkie function to its iOS app.

Present for a few months in the Android application, Microsoft Teams has just introduced the Walkie-Talkie function in the application for iOS devices, which facilitates instant communication by voice.
The foundation of this function, which will now also be available on iOS mobiles, allows do without radio frequency communicators that may have a range limited by distance due to the power of the devices, the signal being blocked by orography or subject to the existence of interference.
This function operates both through Wi-Fi and the mobile data connection of the iPhone itself, so communication can be carried out both in facilities where there is Wi-Fi coverage or anywhere in the world with data coverage. .
To make use of this new function, simply enter the menu marked at the bottom with the…, where it will appear the new Walkie-Talkie function. By clicking on it you can reorder it, dragging it to the main menu. When accessing it, an available Channel will have to be selected and, as in a traditional walkie-talkie, all you have to do is hold down the large button with the icon of a microphone that appears on the screen to maintain audio communication in real time.
A great advantage of this feature is that it can work running in the background, even with the phone locked, using the headset button to push and talk.
