Surprise visit, shortly after midday, by Mick Jagger at Palazzo dei Normanni, seat of the Sicilian Regional Assembly. The Rolling Stones singer arrived at the Royal Palace accompanied by his staff and an interpreter. To welcome him, the president of Ars Gianfranco Micciché, who greeted him at the end of the journey along the palace: from the “new” medieval tunnel, recently inaugurated, to the Palatine Chapel, to the royal apartments, the room of King Roger to the exhibition “Terracqueo” dedicated to the Mediterranean. Mick Jagger showed that he was prepared on the artistic themes that emerged from the visit and he very much appreciated the treasures of the palace.

The Rolling Stones frontman has been in Sicily since last October.
