Update on Isabella’s Battle
Michael Strahan has provided an update on his daughter Isabella’s ongoing battle with brain cancer, following her recent hospitalization after starting chemotherapy.
“The last three days have been a little rough because she had a fever that kind of comes and goes,” Strahan revealed during an appearance on “Good Morning America.” Strahan hoped for Isabella’s return home today after her three-day hospital stay.
Seeing his daughter go through this tough fight has been an emotional experience for the former football star.
Isabella’s Experience with Chemotherapy
Isabella herself, in a recent episode of her YouTube vlog, shared her experience with her first round of chemotherapy. She described it as one of the worst things she has ever done in her entire life.
Isabella talked about feeling the chemo go through her body and described various painful symptoms like headaches and jaw discomfort. She compared the jaw pain to having all her teeth ripped out and placed back in her mouth with no pain relief.
Diagnosis and Treatment
In January, Isabella and Michael Strahan courageously announced her diagnosis of a malignant brain tumor known as a medulloblastoma. Following her diagnosis, Isabella has frozen her eggs and completed her last round of radiation treatment in January.
