Elisabeth Lorun creates a buzz on the web. The 17-year-old internet user recently posted a rather disturbing photo of herself on Twitter. Because, in this shot, the young woman who lives in Manchester looks a lot … like Michael Jackson!
To date, her post has been retweeted nearly 28,000 times and has over 100,000 likes. “Blame it on the boogie”, she simply wrote in caption, in reference to one of the titles of Jackson 5.

The reactions of the fans were not made to wait: “Michael Jackson is not dead, he just changed sex”, could one read on Twitter. “I knew that Michael Jackson was not dead”, “Michael, is that you?”, “Michael Jackson is back”, wrote other admirers of the singer who died in 2009.

“I think I look a lot like Michael Jackson in this photo. So I imagine that people thought so too, and now I am known as ‘the female Michael Jackson lookalike’ ”, explains Elisabeth Lorun to the“ Daily Mirror ”.
This resemblance seems rather to amuse the young woman: “I saw the funny side, I’m not really the type to get upset.”
