The Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves were the last two franchises to qualify for the North American Basketball League (NBA) playoffs on Friday night. At home, in the final round of the play-offs, Miami beat the Chicago Bulls 102-91 and the Minnesota Timberwolves outscored the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-95.

Increasing their margin in the score as the meeting progressed, it was in the 3rd quarter that the Wolves took off against a team from Oklahoma which had long seemed without a solution. Rudy Gobert, who played 33 minutes, finished the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds. After this victory which allows them to join the play-offs in extremis, the Wolves will find Denver for game 1 this Sunday.
