The New York has been operating for almost three months with a take-out and delivery system.
This restaurant decorated in the colors of the largest city in the United States opened its doors in Fournirue in Metz (Moselle) November 11, 2020, in full confinement.
“We fight to earn a little money”
Its manager, Maxime Pauchet, explains that “we are fighting to earn a little money in this difficult period”. With a team from the event industry, the employees embarked on this project. “We didn’t want to be left without being able to do anything,” he says.
Thus, New York offers burgers, pizzas, hot-dogs, but also “home-made fries cooked in half”. Maxime Pauchet assures him: “I peel 25 kg of potatoes every day ”.
During this curfew period, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. continuously from Monday to Saturday. Customers can pick up their order directly on site from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can have it delivered in the evening. The restaurant is on the delivery platforms and can be reached at 03 56 12 38 92.
