Metro will resume service on March 17, 2020 on Line 1 – Noticieros Televisa

In an information card, the Metro Collective Transport System (STC) reported that this Sunday ended with the removal of the 18 cars of the two trains involved in the shock last Tuesday at the station Tacubaya.

He explained that the cars were transferred to the warehouse warehouse of Talleres Zaragoza, some of them towed with traction vehicles with internal combustion engines, which allows work to be carried out to enable the road in both directions.

The STC pointed out that this Sunday the work to enable the roads of the Tacubaya station, after performing the auto pilot system repair.

He indicated that to guarantee the safety of users, this monday march 16 surveying and leveling actions will be carried out, as well as train tests to certify the circulation of the trains.

So the Tuesday, March 17 Line 1 will resume operations in all of its stations.

Meanwhile, the provisional service from Pantitlán to Chapultepec and vice versa. In the section abroad, the alternate service will continue with units of the Passenger Transport Network (RTP), units of the SCC-CDMX and public concession corridors.

He added that two of the 16 persons which turned out injured and that they were transferred to hospitals, they remain in medical attention, none of them serious, and that the rest were discharged in previous days.
