Polda Metro Jaya arrested an official from the National Land Agency (BPN). The arrest of this BPN official is suspected to be related to a syndicate case land mafia.
The Director of Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi confirmed the arrest of the BPN official. The BPN official with the initials PS was arrested in Depok, Tuesday (12/7) night.
“It’s true, Brother PS, who is one of the officials at the Jakarta City BPN, we have arrested him in Depok,” said Kombes Hengki when asked for confirmation, Wednesday (13/7/2022).

PS is the Head of PTSL Adjudication at one of the BPN offices in the Jakarta area. Hengki said his party would hold a press conference to provide details regarding the arrest of the BPN official.
Hengki conveyed that the arrest of the BPN official could not be separated from the support of the Land Mafia Task Force of the Ministry of ATR/BPN RI.
“We will soon do press release related to the land mafia. Of course, the success of this disclosure cannot be separated from the support of all parties, especially the Land Mafia Task Force of the Ministry of ATR/BPN RI, which continues to coordinate intensely with us investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya,” said Hengki.
Hengki said this matter was very concerning. The modus operandi used by the suspects is relatively new and has never been revealed. He even suspected that he had caused many victims.
PS was arrested by the Harda Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya under the leadership of Kanit 1 AKP Mulya Adhimara on Tuesday (12/7) at 23.30 WIB. Information has been obtained, it has been almost a month since the Harda Sub-Directorate’s investigators have been working hard to uncover cases that allegedly involve many BPN employees as the perpetrators.
In addition, he mentioned that there are ASN employees from other agencies who are involved and act as intellectual actors in collaboration with funder (funder). Separately, the Head of Sub-Directorate of Harda Ditreskrimum AKBP Petrus Silalahi confirmed the information.
“It is true that investigators from the Sub Directorate Harda of the PMJ Ditreskrimum last night arrested the suspect PS, who at the time of committing the crime, the suspect served as the Head of PTSL Adjudication at one of the BPN offices in our area, Jakarta,” said Petrus.
It should be noted that to this day the Sub-Directorate of Harda Ditreskrimum PMJ has named more than 20 land mafia suspects in cases involving many ASN employees across agencies.
