With the aim of preparing for the possible occurrence of disasters of various origins, on the second day of the Meteoro popular exercise in Pinar del Río, practical activities were carried out to reduce vulnerabilities and increase the response capacity of the province, municipalities and the 103 zones defense.
In the Hermanos Cruz defense zone, in the main territory, the operation of the housing procedures office was verified, according to the country procedure, for the registration and delivery of resources to victims, one of the essential tasks after the passage of a hydrometeorological event in order to recover the damages.
The arrival of the hurricane season, on the first of June, means in each calendar preparing at all levels to minimize possible impacts, save human lives and protect the resources of the economy.
